Day 15- Transit

7 Hour train ride.
Too much junk food.
Not enough sleep.

Today was really my first time doing a long train ride- and I concluded that traveling 7 hours by train is much better than traveling 7 hours by car or plane. Much, Much better. Especially when you get to sit in cool compartments like they do on the Hogwarts express with a lady asking you “Anything from the trolley, dear?” Okay- so she didn’t quite ask like that, but I always had the urge to respond with “We’ll take the lot!” We spent our time journaling, sleeping in awkward positions, laughing, and chattering.

Then we arrived in Prague.
Oh doggy.
I hadn’t even left the train station and I knew I was going to love it. Then we got to our apartment, and then I knew it was going to be good. And I then dinner completely solidified my love.

It was this quaint authentic grill restaurant in the middle of basically nothing, and the tables itself were in this low-ceiling room with a huge grill in the middle, wooden tables, and sheepskin chairs. Best part? A folk band. LOVED IT. Holy cow, I wanted to cry all night because it was so perfect. Heather and I kept saying it felt like something you’d find in Disneyland.

There were mostly locals there, except for an Italian tour group. After a few drinks they started requesting songs and dancing to them. It was adorable. I videoed most of it which eventually I’ll post- they were such good dancers. I can’t wait for Italy now!
